The fabulous Miss Vicki has requested front door views, and I'm always happy to jump on a bandwagon!
A family of squirrels live in the crack down the middle of the tree. Lots of times, in the rain, you can see them poking their heads out, waiting until it's safe to come out and dig in my flowerbeds. Also, TP needs to rake. He may get around to that in about, oh, March. We're going to have to cut the tree down this spring because the split could open up at any moment, and with the way the tree would fall, it would go right into the house. I'll be putting an eviction notice out for the squirrels soon. Maybe they can go and stay with this lady. Can you ship squirrels through the mail?
And just for kicks, here's someone peeking out the back door...

I love the pictures of Mr. Cheeks. Keep them coming.
I forgot all about Vicki's idea. I'm a smuck. Maybe she will still be my friend. My view is boring anyway.
Thanks for the virtual hugs/kisses on Karen's site today. I really needed it. I feel the same about you!

We welcome all squirrels and have a tree in our front yard ready and waiting. I recommend UPS for shipping live animals. Just include some nuts in the package, maybe poke a few holes in the box. All's good...
LOVE the new template/style! Perfect!

Really like the lights that line your path.
If you have good insurance, move out the irreplacable stuff and let the tree fall!

The new look is way cool, and I totally need to post my view today. I am such a slacker.

What a great tree you have. I hate that it's split and has to be cut down. We had a tree that had to be cut down a few years back and we waited util winter to cut it down because a blue jay had made it's nest there with it's ugly little hairless babies. We let the ugly things fly the coupe and then we shopped the tree down.

I like your view! Mine looks right at #1001's door. Blah.
I need you to tutor me on how to get a cool masthead like that. My site is lacking in masthead joy. Oh, and I want to be just like you.

Those poor squirrels - oh well, better they lose a home than you!!!
The lights are cool.

I love the color on the ground. I don't know what it does to the grass but it is enjoyable to me. I'll bet all of those trees are great when they are green. No snow envy for me. I have tree envy. (except for the raking)

That's a shame the tree has to come down, but it does look like it might be too large for your yard/space.
