I Am The Most Boring NaBloPoMo Person Ever

I'm boring in real life too. 

It's almost over and I can go back to my spotting once a week posting style.  Where maybe I feel like I've put a little though into the entry.  And then it will be Christmas and we'll have Christmas card pictures (we're all wearing matching pajamas)(I know, it's cutsey, get over it.) And then it will be 2008!  I can't believe this year is almost over already.

TP just came and showed me THIS.  OMG my husband has his own blog.  It's an XBox 360 blog.  Ya'll need to go over there and give him some Mrs. CPA lovin'  He needs some good stats on Friday.  Does your husband play Xbox?  Do you play XBox?  The playing with other folks live thing freaks me out.  I'll be reading in the bed and he'll be in there with his dorky headset on talking to people and I can only hear his side of the conversation.

Anyway, we're going to Nan's tomorrow to have a relaxing weekend.  And then we're back in town for a Christmas parade and when I get home TP better have the damn Christmas tree up.  Dammit.

The UPS Man HATES Me

He's going to be stopping at my house for the next week probably everyday delivering the tens of boxes of stuff I have ordered form various sources over the internet.  Amazon, Old Navy, PiperLime (wins the prize for best box - it has cute lime slice paper lining inside), Penny's, and some weird places Amazon outsourced me to have all made appearances.  I came home to four boxes today, one of which was a gargantuan box with Hud-Hud's art desk in it, his big present from Santa.  Between Nan ordering stuff and having it sent to the house and all of Kaden and Kendall's Christmas presents that Haley ordered from Toys R Us showing up, that poor man (or woman) is going to get very familiar with my front stoop.  And then we've got to find a place to PUT all the stuff.  Kendall and Kaden will remember if they see some stray item that shows up from Santa later on, so our garage, while in good enough shape to hold a car as well as 400 broken down boxes, will now be home to MORE boxes and packing material.  I'm saving them, next year everyone's getting a box.  And let me just say I love the internet.  I am only setting foot in three stores for Christmas items and I've already visited two of them. 

I had no idea Designing Women was still on the air

And Antonio Banderas had some cheezy cologne.

Haley had to go back to work and I am at her house supervising the organized chaos. I think the boys may be on their way to sleep, but you never know, they could be building a bomb in there, but I don't care, I'm watching Suzanne Sugarbaker. It's the one where Anthony and Suzanne have to spend the night together in a snow storm and he puts on her panyhouse and her fluffy robe and they bond in a fleabag motel. I love this show. And I love Haley's computer. Do you think she'll notice if I try and stuff it under my shirt and run out the door?

Under the Wire

I've only got twenty minutes to post this, and damn, do I really have to go back to work?  The concert was great, our food was great and we've gone from 9% available to about 45% available on the tivo from all the TV watching we did last night.  I did convince TP to start a fire which I promptly roasted myself in front of.  I pulled out Hud-Hud's stocking that is 1/3 finished and got busy on that too.  I said I would do the dishes and I think I hear TP in there banging around becuase they're piled up everywhere.  I need to do that too. 

Home Alone

After another family get together today, TP and I are going to see Loretta Lynn tonight.  Hud-Hud is at his poppy and Geng-Geng's house in his elmo butt pajamas. And he's spending the night.  We're actually going out to dinner and going to an adult engagement.  Then it's breakfast at their house and picking him up in the morning.  I'm so excited I can barely stand it.  For goodness sake, I've even gotten out the straightening iron. 

HOW BOUT THEM HOGS!!

Watching the Razorbacks play with all of your extended family is exactly why we moved back here.  Your cousin running though the house leading the family in a hog call is extremely fun.  Teaching your son to yell "Go Hogs Go!" while he's standing on your shoulders is what we were meant to do on Thanksgiving.

I am kicking ass at Phase 10.  I hope you are all having a wonderful day with your families and got to take a turkey induced nap.

Of course I won.  I stomped Haley and TP.

I Think I'm Raising A Hippo

Here is a complete listing of what my son ate today:

Animal crackers
A dole fruit cup without the juice
some type of morning snack
pizza
pizza side dishes at school
animal crackers
cheese puffs
1 oz of cheese
2 shortbread no egg cookies
a little individual box of cheerios (although some of these went to the dog)
more cheese
fritos
some chili without any sauce
10 cornbread crackers

I don't know what has gotten into this child.  As soon as he gets finished eating and gets out of his chair he tries to get back in, crying "Eat Eat!" I'm blaming Golden Corral.

And when I picked him up today from school, one of his ears was draining.  Great, that's just what we need, a Thanksgiving earache.

I'm having an extra drink for that one.
